Members should at all times conduct their business in a dignified and honourable manner, and with a view to maintaining the highest ideals of our craft.

A member should not speak disparagingly of the work of any other hairdresser in the presence of their staff or clients.

A member should strive at all times to maintain a fair standard of prices, commensurate with their skill and the location of their business.

No member should substitute solutions, sachets, or other components by any process protected by trademark without first acquainting their client with the fact that they are doing so, and their reason.

A member’s dealings with their employees should be honourable, and in keeping with the laws and regulations of the State.

A member should not advertise extravagant claims which are misleading, or in any way contrary to the code.
